Law and administrative rules are changing more frequently and growing in breadth and depth of reach. As a result, more businesses and more aspects of business are affected by governmental policy. Businesses based outside of the state, and particularly in other nations, may be at a disadvantage. KMKSC provides a means to stay in touch with government developments, and where necessary, to participate in the debate.
KMKSC’s registered lobbyists work on behalf of clients on business and legal issues with the goal of informing decision makers and persuading them to adopt legislation and rules that are well crafted and consistent with our clients’ objectives. As lawyers, we understand the bounds not only of the law, but professional ethics and civic duty. State campaign finance and lobbying rules have become increasingly complex. We know that one of the surest ways to jeopardize our clients’ business objectives is to run afoul of these rules. By knowing, and following, these rules, we not only assure our clients’ reputations, but also are able to apply our reputation for integrity to enhance the impact of our work on our clients’ behalf.
